Name - Mercury Dazzle Rich

Alias - Mercy, quicksilver.

Age - 11

Parents - Diamond Tiara and Pipsqueak.

Talent/Cutie mark - Mercury’s cutie mark consists of a silver snake with a diamond eye that is curled around a magnifying glass. Her special talent consists of quickly scanning puzzles and encrypted messages and being able to decrypt them and discover hidden secrets. The filly is very attentive to details and can easily understand how a system works and improve it or change some core function.

Physical -

• Mercury inherited most of her father’s markings, despite the coloration being different due to her mother’s genes… However, interestingly enough she doesn’t look too much like Diamond Tiara.

• But to compensate that, she inherited her grandfather’s dark black mane.

• When the filly was born, her eyes were dark brown like her father’s, but as she grew up they gained an unique glow to them.

• She is a very lanky filly.

• Even when she grows up, she retains her height.

Short Bio/Personality - Mercury was born among the richest ponies, but even so she is not arrogant and extremely stuck up, as her father did build up a sense of humbleness within the filly, and she tries to treat anypony fairly and with justice… Despite the fact that sometimes she does like to have a few extra commodities compared to other ponies, just to relax and forget about a bit of the problems of the world, even if they don’t really reach her sometimes.

She is oftenly a calm and collected filly that shows how polite and elegant she can be, looking even slightly emotionless when put against certain situations; Mercury has a difficulty to pick upon how others are feeling unless they are showing extreme displeasure or a very intense display of their current state of emotion (like anger, love, joy, sadness, etc.)

The filly was born in ponyville, and spent a lot of her childhood years within the local mansion of her family and the ponyville school, however as she grows up, she will eventually move of to Canterlot instead of just visiting it now and then.

Relationships -

• Diamond Tiara: Mercury does look up to her mother and respects her a lot, despite their clashing opinions on some topics, like where she should hang out or with who, and negative commentary upon some of her favorite hobbies… She still loves her mother dearly, but when such conflicts rise, she just prefers to run away and be by herself.

• Pipsqueak: She loves her father dearly and they oftenly have lots of fun together, distracting her of the lessons on how to be a proper noble pony and invest her riches on something. However they do have a tendency to overlook consequences when they’re together, leading to sometimes cause a few accidents. Pip normally encourages his Daughter’s hobbies and tries to convince his wife that they’re healthy practices.

• Filthy Rich: Her grandfather was thrilled when he first meet the filly, seeing that she had got his handsome dark mane was really something he was joyous about. Filthy believes that Mercury will have a great career in the future and be one of the many prides of the family, he loves to hang with his grand daughter and her about her personal interests and hobbies, specially about the fact that she can decrypt even complex unicorn scroll spells, despite being an earth pony.

• Spoiled Rich: As it stands on the name, her grandmother oftenly showers the little filly with gifts and things that she mostly wouldn’t use or want, but keeps out of consideration. Somehow her grandmother can be even more overbearing than her mother herself sometimes, causing the filly to not be totally warm towards their interactions… But she knows it comes from a place of care and she loves her grandmother just as dearly.

Facts -

• Despite her talent laying within decrypting codes and analysing systems, Mercury loves to parkour.

• She is very agile and swift with her movements, capable of pulling amazing stunts and jumping very high for a pony.

• She has a taste for salty treats.

• She is not too much of a fighter, relying mostly on her agility and velocity to fend someone off if she has to.

• Mercury secretly really loves art, but is not very talented at drawing or painting for that matter.

• Her favorite pass-time after Parkour, is solving puzzles.
